Company History
Nov. 1, 1959 Kato Seisakusho, a privately owned concern of the present
President Tomozo Kato, was established at 2-14-17 Matsushima, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo.
May 1, 1962 Shoritsu Seisakusho Co., Ltd. was opened with a capital of 3 millions of Yen.

Approved by the American Petroleum Institute (API) to use their monogram
The capital was increased to 12 millions of Yen.
A new building for the office and the factory was completed at 2-7-21 Matsushima, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo.
Apr. 1, 1970 The capital was increased to 24 millions of Yen.
Sep. 16, 1971 A forging factory was opened at 1228-4 0ki, Yachimata City, Chiba Prefecture. Then, a pressing plant, a cutting plant and a machining plant were also completed, and it has become possible to manufacture valves throughout from forging to assembling.
Nov. 1, 1974 The capital was increased to 48 millions of Yen.
Dec. 4, 1978 Shoritsu was approved as minister authorized factory (High Pressure Gas).
Nov. 1, 1994 Business expansion to China Dalian Shoritsu Valves Co., Ltd.
Aug. 1, 1995 Shoritsu had completed Quality System (ISO9001) in accordance with KHK-ISO.
